What a great little ice cream parlor! I ended up getting the banana split and to be honest with you it could have been a banana split for two. Unfortunately I'm a big guy and I ate the entire thing myself. I did believe it to be absolutely an amazing man split though. To be honest with you the ice cream itself was probably better than the banana split. I would definitely recommend the vanilla ice cream 100%.

Rosati’s Frozen Custard in Northfield is an absolute gem! Every visit is a treat — the custard is incredibly smooth, rich, and full of flavor. You can taste the quality and care that goes into every scoop. The staff is always friendly, patient, and happy to offer samples or help with recommendations. They have a great variety of flavors and toppings, and the portions are generous for the price. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and perfect for families or a quick stop after dinner. Whether you’re craving a classic sundae, a concrete, or just a simple cone, Rosati’s never disappoints. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — it’s easily one of the best local spots for frozen custard in Northeast Ohio!

I never order vanilla anywhere and usually dislike it, but the Vanilla Caramel Cashew flavor of the month totally surprised me—creamy, smooth, and insanely good. Even a vanilla hater like me loved it!

Time warp to Happy Days and the Fonz. Just a few flavors, nothing pretentious, fast and friendly service, people coming and going and just enjoying summer. Spare yourself exotic modern concoctions (they have their place, but let them go for one day) and decision gridlock, and just have some fine cold custard on a hot day! (Say hi to my beautiful wife Ida!)

I love the creamy texture of the custard. There is always a daily flavor to try. My favorite is the Turtle sunday with chocolate, carmel and pecans. You will need to hurry. They close for the season sometime in November.

We made a road trip here because that guy, Chris, on the Ford commercials, took his daughter here. I also read recently that they were among the top 10 ice cream destinations in Ohio and wanted to check them out. They did not open until 1:00 on a Friday and we had arrived just before they opened, so there was no line. I had two scoops of the vanilla, peanut butter, and chocolate chip on a chocolate dipped waffle cone. This was the flavor of the day. My wife opted for a tin roof sundae. The ice cream did not disappoint. Mine was creamy with big chunks of chocolate. My only problem is I could not eat it fast enough as it started to melt almost immediately and ran down my hand. The risk you have to take when you order a cone. There is a small seating area behind the building that has picnic tables and a gazebo. We chose the gazebo to get out of the sun. The bottom line, ice cream, and service are excellent. Thanks for the tip, Chris!

Love this little local custard spot! Definitely check out their calendar of flavors. Wednesdays feature Higbee's Chocolate Malted - it's iconic for a reason! Try it with Spanish Peanuts. It's family-owned and a Must Do if you're in the area.
